Additional Plug-ins Folder (Plug-ins & Scratch Disks) gets the Choose…
button that Data Recovery's Folder has, on hosts with a folder picker.
A picked plug-ins folder must be a folder whose contents can be listed;
otherwise the status bar says why and the field keeps its value.

OK now gives a folder typed into either field the same check as a
picked one. When it fails, the dialog stays open, the status bar says
why and no preference is set. An empty field and the folder already
saved are not checked. Under automation roots, a folder outside them is
refused before it is looked at.

Additional Fonts Folder and Templates Folder stay typed only.
