Orbit TV 0.10.0 — shortlist and episode metadata

The Toonami working shortlist now includes 23 terms: the previous five plus Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Voltron, ReBoot, Beast Wars, Jonny Quest, Robotech, Ronin Warriors, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, The Big O, Cardcaptors, Zoids, Dragon Ball GT, Naruto, Samurai Jack, Justice League. Some terms intentionally omit punctuation/subtitles to expose provider naming variants; Paul approves actual titles/years. This is his programming direction, not a verified historical broadcast list.

Searches run in explicit batches of at most five, ten candidates per term, accumulating in the temporary session. Check next five series advances only after a successful batch. Existing matches/approvals survive subsequent batches. Batch failure stops without automatic retry. Cancellation is checked between network requests. Individual requests retain the existing timeouts and response size limit.

For the sample, approve up to three distinct series. Check sample episodes performs at most three GET /Shows/{id}/Episodes requests, one per selected series, Limit=5 and StartIndex=0 with user ID and header token, images/user data disabled. Results are capped locally even if the provider ignores the limit, IDs/types/returned SeriesId validated, duplicates removed. Returned sample episodes are sorted locally by known season/episode numbers; this does not prove the returned page contains the earliest five episodes. Unknown order/runtime is labelled; runtime must be 1 second to 7 days to be shown as usable metadata. Missing/invalid metadata is not invented. Episode results appear above matches and scroll into view. Changing approval clears previous episode results.

No new playback eligibility is asserted or tested: these are metadata pages only, no PlaybackInfo or video request, no watch-history updates from the check. Channel 103 is not scheduled yet. Channel 102 and optional advert/ident modules remain future work. The existing working 101 playback integration is unchanged apart from the client version string.

Validation: cached/offline assembleDebug, testDebugUnitTest and lintDebug passed; 61 unit tests, zero failures/errors. Added tests for later/final search batches, cancellation between searches, bounded episode pages, ordering of returned sample, source identity validation, unknown order/runtime, invalid/oversized approvals and stopping on rate limits. APK signature verified. Reviewed request bounds, session-only state and error handling. No real credentials/catalogue/media/logs accessed by development tools. Provider endpoint compatibility, remote navigation and layout still need the Xiaomi test after installation. No new dependency/device permission, VPS, firewall or service changes.
