Orbit TV 0.12.0 — compatible source selection and diagnostics

Report: Create playable 103 failed with the app's unsupported-container message, from selections among the original five search terms. The precise selected shows, source container and availability of alternate sources are not yet known. No real metadata/account/device logs were collected. The real failure cannot yet be attributed to a particular format.

Inspection found an independent selection defect: prepare chose the first direct source, then rejected its container, ignoring later compatible direct sources. It now filters eligible direct sources by the existing supported-container set before choosing. A previously locked scheduled source is still mandatory and cannot silently change to another version. Container tokens are trimmed and case-normalized; supported set is unchanged (mp4,mkv,mov,m4v,webm,ts,mpegts). No unsupported extractor/decoder capability is invented.

If no eligible direct source has a supported container, the error includes at most three short sanitized format labels. Arbitrary paths, URLs and long strings become unknown. A failed Toonami builder identifies the series/episode using its already displayed local title and retains HTTP status when wrapping errors. It still stops instead of skipping episodes. No transcoding, remuxing, fallback server process or full importer added. If this provider only offers an unsupported format, this build will explain it rather than necessarily make the episode playable.

Validation: cached/offline assembleDebug, testDebugUnitTest and lintDebug passed; 68 tests, zero failures/errors. Added regression coverage with a first unsupported AVI candidate followed by supported MKV: MKV is selected; a lock to the AVI source still fails. Tests cover container whitespace/case normalization, unsupported diagnostics and raw-URL/oversized-label rejection. Signature verified. Real provider behavior and specific blocker still require the Xiaomi test after installation. No dependency, device permission, VPS/firewall/service or private-data persistence changes.

Official format capabilities checked: https://developer.android.com/media/media3/exoplayer/supported-formats . No claim that the fixture AVI value is the user's actual container.
