Orbit TV 0.41.0 verification

Smart Channels Phase C: Vortex on the shared engine, and fewer repeats on Terra.

Changed

• Vortex (103): up to six shows from seven, starting with Paul's Dragon Ball Z, Batman Beyond and Superman.
• A channel can now ask that a finished show waits until every show has finished. Vortex and Terra use this.
• Terra: 27 curated titles, exact matches only, up to 20 series.
• A channel's episode cache is read again if its list changes. Committed programmes stay.
• With Paul's agreement, Terra's plan was rebuilt once after the install, as a deliberate one-off, keeping its saved place.

• Vortex's shows run in season order, with Dragon Ball Z's 291 episodes reaching season 3 in the week. Gundam Wing wasn't found in the library. Seven of Terra's 27 titles weren't used, none matching exactly, including Dynasties, which the library files as Dynasties (2018).
• Schedule files identical after two restarts, 0 requests, no re-read.
• Vortex extension from 5.5 to 7 days took 618 ms and kept every programme and produced the same plan as before.
• Paradox and After Dark re-read their lists once because of the new cache check. Their schedule fingerprints didn't change. catalogue.db fingerprint unchanged (b630828b...).
• Tuning, 6 changes: 4.5 to 16 s in total, with Terra the slowest. Memory (PSS) 182 MB on the menu. All schedule files together about 508 KB including backups.

Unit tests

• assembleDebug, testDebugUnitTest and lintDebug pass; 188 tests, 0 failures, 6 new.

Not checked

• A show finishing and the channel moving past it, on air. Unit test only, and Batman Beyond's finish is days away.
• Several days of real running on Vortex and Terra.
• The cause of slower tuning.
