Orbit TV 0.8.0 — Retry and classic tuning number
The scheduled channel joining-error screen now offers Retry, focused for the remote. Each click runs a fresh preparation against the current wall-clock programme using the same temporary session and locked media source. The existing mutex serializes preparation. Retry is manual, disappears while preparation runs and does not reauthenticate or create an automatic retry loop. Back still returns to the main TV Guide. This does not establish or fix the cause of the previously reported intermittent provider connection failure.
A green monospace channel number appears at the top-right during preparation and for two seconds after player readiness. Current channel is 101. No artificial loading delay, new dependency or EffectCraft asset is needed for this native text overlay. No separate retry is added to full-screen decoder/media errors in this increment.
Validation: offline assembleDebug, testDebugUnitTest and lintDebug passed. All 48 unit tests passed (16 client, 16 playback, 12 channel, 4 demo schedule). Added a fake-transport check that one failed preparation can be explicitly retried using the same login and source without reauthentication; this is protocol coverage, not automated UI coverage. APK signature verification passed. Green number positioning/timing and Retry focus/click still require the Xiaomi remote test. No private account, catalogue, video or device logs were read. No VPS/firewall/services/dependency changes. APK not installed as part of preparation.
