Orbit TV 0.9.0 — channel 103 series check
Approved direction: 101 Orbit One (mixed entertainment), 102 Orbit After Dark (horror/thriller/cult), 103 Toonami (working name, classic action animation). Only 101 has scheduled playback today. This increment adds candidate discovery and temporary approval for 103, not a playable 103 or 102.
After sign-in, Menu → Connect Emby → 103 Toonami — check five series. Uses the existing temporary session to make five serial authenticated GET /Items queries with UserId, Recursive, IncludeItemTypes=Series, SearchTerm, StartIndex=0, Limit=10, images/userdata disabled. Terms: Dragon Ball Z, Batman Beyond, Superman, Powerpuff Girls, ThunderCats. At most ten records processed per response even if the provider ignores the limit. Valid series IDs only; titles/rating bounded, year validated, IDs deduplicated within each search. Authentication/rate-limit/network failures stop the check. No automatic retry, no episode queries, no playback, no account edits. Returned names are possible matches, never automatically accepted; lack of search results is not proof of absence from the entire library.
The review lists titles, returned years and ratings for choosing versions. Approve toggles an in-memory set of series IDs. Navigation retains it during this session; disconnect/background clears it. It is not persisted or scheduled. Episode availability, ordering, duration and playback eligibility are future checks. Existing 101, classic green tuning number and manual joining Retry remain.
Validation: offline assembleDebug, testDebugUnitTest, lintDebug successful; 53 tests passed with zero failures/errors. Five new fake-transport tests cover the five-query bound, encoding/header credentials, provider ignoring limits, invalid/non-series/duplicate results, empty results, and immediate stop on 401/429. Signature verification passed. Source reviewed for scope, request bounds and secret handling. No real account/catalogue/media accessed by development tools. Actual provider series-search compatibility and remote focus/layout require Paul's Xiaomi test after installation. No new dependency, device permission, VPS/firewall/service or persisted private data.
