document.open, file.place and document.pdfInfo read cropTo (and its older name crop), password, colorMode and textAs as strings and used the default when a value was not a string, so "textAs": true or "colorMode": 5 opened the file with the defaults. They now return an error naming the param, and nothing opens or is placed. A wrong crop is refused even when cropTo is given. document.pdfInfo also rejects a thumbnailSize that is not a number, with or without a thumbnail. Leaving a param out or giving null keeps its default, and an empty password still means no password.
