Load Character Styles and Load Paragraph Styles left out every style of the other kind, so a pattern that a loaded style paints with kept a reference to a paragraph or character style the document did not get. The styles of the kind not loaded now come along when such a pattern or symbol sets type in them, renamed like any other. The order in which styles, symbols and patterns are placed is worked out from one graph of their uses instead of scanning every definition left in each round.
